Capacity Building Workshop on CCE

A total of 48 participants from all the 3 VKVs of Barak Valley Cluster including the Head Masters and senior teachers attended a Capacity Building Workshop of CBSE on 'Continuos and Comprehensive Evaluation' at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Ramnagar, Silchar on 10th May, 2014.

Apart from the aforementioned programme, the following important programmes (including somemacademic consolidation programmes) were conducted under MEJSP in VKVs of Assam and Nagaland during the reporting period:

Dibrugarh: Abhibhavak Sammelan on 18.03.2015 on "Briging up of a Child and his future contribution depends on the care taken by the parents and teachers"; 85 parents participated; Chief Guest: Dr. Sovarani Sharma, Prant Pramukh, VK Assam.

MEJSP launched at Dibrugarh

Saumar Bhumi Vibhag organised a public meeting on 30.11.14 in Lakshminath Bezbaruah Sahitya Sabha Bhawan, Chowkidinghee, Dibrugarh with cooperation from VKV Dibrugarh to launch MEJSP in Dibrugarh, Tinsukia and Sivasagar districts of Assam. Dr. Nagen Saikia, Former President of Axom Sahitya Sabha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mananeeya Balakrishnanji, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari delivered the keynote address in presence of Shri Prakash Kakoty, Vibhag Sanchalak and Sri Samiran Dey, an associate of Mananeeya Eknathji.

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag (VKSPV): An Overview

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag (VKSPV) strives to facilitate nationalistic education in Northeast India with a cultural mooring.  It is an educational project of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari (VKK), a spiritually-oriented service organization. With the objective of ‘Man Making-Nation Building’ envisaged by the great Patriot Saint Swami Vivekananda, VKSPV administers the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas (VKVs) of Assam and Nagaland.  It is presently extending educational support to 5 more Vidyalayas in Assam.

IT Mentoring by Su. Kalpana Mehta

Su. Kalpana Mehta, Saha IT Sangathak of VKK Visited VKVs at Tingrai, Bokuloni, Umrangso, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Ramnagar (Silchar), Borjalenga, Bdarpur and Nalbari in January and February 2015. During this period she inspected classrooms, computer laboratories, smart classrooms, computer laboratories, smart classrooms and guided the teachers on various aspects for a better teaching process on January and February 2015; various VKVs.
