Each VKV celebrated Sadhana  Diwas (Mananeeya Eknathji's Jayanti) with  speeches by students and teachers on Eknathji  Ranade,  patriotic  songs and bhajans. VKV Tinsukia and  VKV (NEC) Baragolai  conducted a cleanliness drive in and around the school campus as part of a Shramdan  programme.  On  this occasion  the students  and the teachers of VKV  Tinsukia  performed  Akhanda Ramcharit Manash  Paath at the  Vidyal aya  for 24 hours from 18 & 19 November 2012

A few teachers from VKVs at Sivasagar, Umrangso and Badarpur took part in a workshop and received training in ABL Card preparation. A few teachers from VKV Tinsukia developed the study materials for ABL and guided the participating teachers in the workshop.

The orientation programme gave the new teachers an overview of the organisation. Moreover, the newly appointed teachers were apprised of the work style of the VKVs and oriented towards the organisational goal before they joined their duty.
