As opposed to the ostensible effectiveness of speeches and stories in developing leadership in students, VKSPV conducts Samskar Varga Prashikshan Shibirs ( Value Education Training Programme) annually to give students real life situations to lead a group so that they can fast cultivate in themselves all that leadership demands practically.

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, Tezpur organized the 1st veenapani Lalit Kala samaroh,- a cultural competition for the students of vivekananda Kendra vidyalayas at vivekananda vidyalaya, Golaghat on 15, 16 & 17 December 2006. in the Samaroh various events of Performing Arts like  1) Bhajan/Borgeet 2) Patriotic song 3) Sattriya Nritya 4) Classical Dance (Solo) 5) Instrumental Performance (Table) 6) Recitation 7) Mime were performed by the students of twelve Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas.
