Proud Moment for VKV Ramnagar: Debargha Chakraborty Selected for YUVIKA 2025 by ISRO
We are delighted to announce that Debargha Chakraborty, a bright and dedicated student of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ramnagar (Silchar), has been selected for YUVIKA 2025 (YUva VIgyani KAryakram)—a prestigious initiative by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
YUVIKA is designed to impart foundational knowledge in space science, technology, and applications to students of Class 9, nurturing their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It offers a unique opportunity for young learners to interact with top ISRO scientists and gain hands-on exposure at some of the country’s premier space facilities.
Debargha’s selection was based on:
-
His outstanding academic performance in Class 8
-
Participation in national and state-level science and math competitions
-
Achievements in sports
-
And a competitive online quiz conducted by ISRO
His achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a matter of great pride for VKV Ramnagar and the entire VKSPV family. We appreciate the role of our dedicated teachers and school mentors who guided and encouraged Debargha throughout the process.
YUVIKA 2025 Programme Schedule:
The two-week residential programme will be held from 18th May to 30th May 2025 at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, one of ISRO’s leading research facilities.
We extend our heartiest congratulations to Debargha and wish him a transformative and inspiring experience at YUVIKA 2025. May this achievement pave the way for many more students to dream big and reach for the stars!
