Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag

Samartha Bharat Parva is observed from 25th December to 12th January every year to awaken national consciousness among the youth focusing on the strengths of our Nation.

National Youth Day was celebrated in school conducting programmes for two days. On 11th January 2019 students showcased a cultural programme on the stage of  NRC, DHEP and NEEPCO. The programme was graced by Sri P.B. Das, HOP, DHEP, NEEPCO and a few numbers of dignitaries from NEEPCO office and CISF. Around 600 audiences enjoyed the programme. 

VKV Golaghat organized 2nd Inter-School Badminton Championship on 2nd and 3rd January, 2019. A total of 59 players from 6 different schools of greater Golaghat took part in the event. Sri Nabajyoti Bora, Sri Porag Duwarah and Sri Gama Pegu, all officials of Golaghat Indoor Stadium, officiated in the competition.

VKV Badarpur has organsed Matri-Pitri Puja, where all the students and parents of class- VIII, IX & X were   invited to participated in the Programme. The programme started at 10:00AM with the washing of the feet of   father and mother by their child. In the first-half the Matri-Pitri Puja was there. Students offered flowers at the   feet of their parents.

VKV Bokakhat for the first time celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. A colourful procession was taken out on that day. All the students, Parents, wellwishers, General public as well as members of VK Bokakhat Branch participated in the procession. Around five hundred people took part.

REPUBLIC DAY

Matri Devo Bhaba, Pitri Devo Bhaba is the tradition of our culture. Students of VKVs also follow this culture in true spirit. This year also the Matri-Pitri puja ceremony was held at VKV Ramnagar SIlchar for the students of class X on 16 Feb’19 in the school premises.
