Matri Puja was conducted at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mangaldoi on 4th February, 2023 at 3:00 PM for the mothers of the students of Class-X. 

At the outset, the respective wards washed the feet of their mothers.

Program was started with lightening of the ceremonial lamp followed by Mangalacharan, welcome speech delivered by headmistress of the Vidyalaya, and welcome song performed by the teachers. 

On this auspicious occasion, Sri. Devendra malviya, teacher of VKV (NEC) Baragolai guided the students throughout the ceremony and highlighted the importance of Matri Pujan, "Matri Devo Bhava". 

The Headmaster, Teachers and Staff members of the neighbouring school and colleges, well-wishers, near about 70 people were present in the program.
