VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang organised a Career Counselling Programme for the students of class X on 19th March 2021. A total of 32 people attended the programme including both students and teachers. Sri Laishram Yamaiba Khuman, Asstt. Manager (HR), DHEP, NEEPCO was the Resource Person in the programme. He focused on the range of career options in all the streams after passing class X, XII and graduation.
A badminton tournament was held for the students of Classes IX and X at VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang in the last week of January 2021. It was followed by a prize distribution ceremony graced by Sri Prabir Kumar Ghosh, DGM, Civil, NEEPCO as a special guest. A total of 46 persons attended the programme.
VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang hosted Aryabhata Anusandhanatmaka Vijnana Prakalpa (Science Investigatory Project), one of VKSPV's inter-VKV events, from 18th to 20th November 2010. The host school was adjudged the Best Overall Performer and VKV Dibrugarh the runner-up while 23 project from 12 VKVs were assesed in the competition. National Youth Day was celebrated in school conducting programmes for two days. On 11th January 2019 students showcased a cultural programme on the stage of NRC, DHEP and NEEPCO. The programme was graced by Sri P.B. Das, HOP, DHEP, NEEPCO and a few numbers of dignitaries from NEEPCO office and CISF. Around 600 audiences enjoyed the programme.
